Meeting Your Guide

The tour begins at 9:00 AM, and your guide will come to pick you up straight from your riad or hotel, so there is really nothing to worry about from the moment you wake up.

Bahia Palace

Your very first stop is Bahia Palace, and honestly, it is the kind of place that stops you in your tracks. As you wander through its grand courtyards and richly decorated rooms, your guide will bring the whole story to life. Not only will you hear about the people who once called this palace home, but you will also discover details in the architecture that most visitors walk right past.

Le Jardin Secret (The Secret Garden)

After that, you will head over to the Secret Garden, one of those hidden gems that people are always glad they visited. As soon as you step inside, you will notice how quiet and beautiful it is. In fact, it gives you a real sense of how Moroccan gardens were designed to feel like a true escape from the outside world. It is also a lovely spot to slow down, breathe, and take a few photos.

Koutoubia Mosque

From there, you will make your way to the Koutoubia Mosque. It is impossible to miss and even harder not to be impressed by. Although you will not go inside, standing in front of that minaret and walking through the surrounding gardens is an experience in itself. Meanwhile, your guide will explain why this landmark has meant so much to the people of Marrakech for centuries.

Lunch in a Local Restaurant

By midday, you will more than likely be ready to sit down and have your lunch. So we will stop at a local restaurant where the food is the real thing, tagine, couscous, pastilla, dishes that have been cooked this way for generations. As a result, this is one of those stops that people on the tour always talk about. Take your time and enjoy every bite.

Medina and the Souks

Once lunch is done, you head into the Medina, the ancient heart of the old city. The streets are narrow, the sounds and smells are unlike anywhere else, and there is something new to see around every corner. Throughout the walk, your guide will explain how people live and work here. On top of that, you will get useful tips on how to shop and bargain with confidence so you never feel lost or overwhelmed.

Jemaa el-Fnaa Square

Following that, you arrive at Jemaa el-Fnaa Square, the beating heart of Marrakech. It is loud, colourful, and full of life. For example, you will find street performers, food stalls, musicians, and locals all going about their day in one place. In short, it is something you simply have to see to believe.

Free Time

Finally, before the day comes to an end, you will have some free time to do whatever feels right. Whether you want to explore a little more, pick up a souvenir, or simply sit on a café terrace with a glass of mint tea and watch the square from above, the choice is entirely yours.

The tour finishes at around 4:00 PM, and your guide will then drop you back safely at your hotel or riad.
