Day 1Arrival in Casablanca – Marrakech

Upon arrival at Casablanca Airport, meet your driver and begin the journey to Marrakech. Once you reach the city, check in to your riad or hotel and take some time to relax. The remainder of the day is then free to enjoy at your own pace. Overnight Stay in Marrakech at Riad Al Rimal & Spa or similar.

Day 2Marrakech Guided Tour

Meet your local guide and discover Marrakech, one of Morocco’s four imperial cities, founded in 1070 by Almoravid ruler Youssef Ibn Tachfin. First, visit the beautiful Bahia Palace, built in the late 19th century by Si Moussa. Next, explore the 16th-century Saadian Tombs. Afterwards, admire the iconic Koutoubia Mosque, built in 1147 by the Almohad Caliph Abd al-Mu’min. Finally, wander through the colorful souks and UNESCO-listed Jemaa el-Fna Square before returning for an overnight stay in Marrakech at Riad Al Rimal & Spa or similar.

Day 3Marrakech – Ait Ben Haddou – Ouarzazate – Dades Valley

Day 4Dades Valley – Todra Gorge – Merzouga Desert

Day 7Fes – Chefchaouen

Your main luggage will be transported safely to the desert camp by a 4×4 vehicle provided by the desert camp, so you only need to bring a small backpack with your personal essentials. By the time you arrive, your luggage will already be waiting for you in your private tent.

Can I exchange or withdraw money in the Sahara Desert?

No. There are no banks or ATMs in the Sahara Desert. We recommend exchanging or withdrawing enough cash before arriving in Merzouga. If needed, simply ask your driver to stop at a bank or ATM in one of the towns along the route before reaching the desert. This will ensure you have everything you need during your stay.
