Your 4 Day Marrakech to M’Hamid Luxury Desert Adventure begins with a pick-up from accommodation in Marrakech. Cross the High Atlas Mountains via the Tizi n’Tichka Pass and continue to the Kasbah of Telouet, built between the late 19th and early 20th centuries by the influential Glaoui family. Afterwards, head to Ait Ben Haddou, a fortified ksar dating back to the 11th century during the Almoravid period. Explore this UNESCO World Heritage Site before settling into your riad for an overnight stay in Ait Ben Haddou at Riad Maktoub or similar.
Continue south through the magnificent Draa Valley, home to thousands of palm trees and ancient kasbahs. Reach Zagora before heading to Tamgroute, famous for its green pottery workshops, the 17th-century Nasiriyya Library, and historic Quranic school. Later, arrive in M’Hamid El Ghizlane, the last village before the vast Sahara Desert. Enjoy a memorable camel ride across the dunes before reaching your luxury desert camp for dinner and an overnight stay at Caravane du Sud or similar.
Wake up early to admire a spectacular Sahara sunrise before breakfast at the camp. Afterwards, leave M’Hamid and head to Tamgroute to visit its famous green pottery workshops, the historic Nasiriyya Library founded in the 17th century, and the ancient Quranic School, an important center of Islamic learning for centuries. Continue through Zagora and the beautiful Draa Valley, passing palm groves and traditional Berber villages before arriving in Ouarzazate for dinner and an overnight stay at Riad Bouchedor or similar.
This morning, leave Ouarzazate and cross the spectacular High Atlas Mountains via the Tizi n’Tichka Pass. Along the way, enjoy breathtaking landscapes, traditional Berber villages, and panoramic mountain views. Several stops will be made for photos and refreshments before continuing to Marrakech. Upon arrival, you will be dropped off at your accommodation or Marrakech Airport, marking the end of your 4 Day Marrakech to M’Hamid Luxury Desert Adventure.

If you prefer not to complete the full walk, you can explore the lower part of the village at your own pace.
