Itinerary

Day 1Casablanca Airport – Marrakech

Begin your 5 Day M’Hamid Desert and Essaouira Tour from Casablanca with a pick-up from Casablanca Airport. If time permits, depending on your flight arrival, visit the magnificent Hassan II Mosque, completed in 1993 under the reign of King Hassan II. Leave Marrakech early and cross the spectacular High Atlas Mountains via the Tizi n’Tichka Pass, reaching an altitude of 2,260 meters. Continue through Ouarzazate before following the scenic Draa Valley, famous for its palm groves, ancient kasbahs, and traditional Berber villages. Later, pass through Agdz and Zagora, known as the gateway to the Sahara. Upon arrival in M’Hamid, enjoy a camel ride across the dunes to your luxury desert camp. End the day with a traditional dinner and an overnight stay at Caravane du Sud or similar.
