No. Zagora Desert and Merzouga Desert are two different desert destinations in Morocco. Zagora is known for its rocky desert landscapes and smaller sand dunes, offering a quieter desert experience. Merzouga is famous for the spectacular Erg Chebbi dunes, which are much higher and more extensive, creating the classic Sahara scenery that many travelers imagine. Both offer camel rides, desert camps, beautiful sunsets, and unforgettable nights under the stars, but the landscapes are quite different.
The camel ride usually lasts around one hour, depending on the season and the sunset time. Along the way, there will be opportunities to enjoy the scenery and take photos before arriving at the desert camp.
You can leave your main luggage in our vehicle. It will be transported to the desert camp by a 4×4 vehicle while you enjoy your camel ride. When you arrive at the camp, your luggage will already be waiting for you inside your private tent.
