Follow the Atlantic coast north to Asilah, a port town fortified by the Portuguese after their arrival in 1471. Enter the medina through one of its historic gates and walk between whitewashed houses decorated with murals created during the town’s annual arts festival. Along the route, see the 16th-century Al Kamra Tower, the Raissouli Palace and workshops displaying local art and crafts. From the Portuguese ramparts, look across the harbour and Atlantic Ocean before continuing to Tangier. The tour ends with drop-off at your hotel, Tangier Port or Tangier Ibn Battouta Airport, depending on your departure plans.
