Day 1Marrakech – High Atlas – Ait Ben Haddou – Skoura – Dades Valley

Day 1 of the 3 Days Marrakech to Merzouga Desert Tour begins with an early departure from your hotel or riad in Marrakech. After about one hour and a half on the road, we stop at a panoramic viewpoint to enjoy mint tea or coffee and use the toilet. Then, the journey continues through the famous Tizi n’Tichka Pass in the High Atlas Mountains, where you will have time to capture photos of the winding road and the surrounding valleys.

After crossing the pass, the trip reaches Ait Ben Haddou Kasbah, a UNESCO World Heritage site and one of Morocco’s most iconic landmarks. Here, you enjoy a guided visit and have free time for lunch. Later, we drive to Skoura to explore the historic Amridil Kasbah, one of the best-preserved kasbahs in Morocco.

The road then continues through the Rose Valley. We stop at a women’s cooperative to learn about rose water distillation and discover local products.

Finally, the tour arrives in the Dades Valley. Before reaching your hotel or riad, we stop to admire the famous rock formations known as the Monkey Fingers. Dinner and overnight stay in Dades Valley are included.

Day 2Dades Valley – Todra Gorge – Tinjdad – Erfoud – Merzouga

In the afternoon, we arrive in Merzouga, the starting point of the Erg Chebbi dunes. At sunset, a camel ride takes you across the golden sand dunes to a luxury desert camp. Day 3Merzouga – Rissani – Anlif – N’Qoub – Agdz – Ouarzazate – Marrakech

Later in the afternoon, the route crosses landscapes filled with palm groves and mountains before reaching Ouarzazate, often called the gateway to the Sahara.
